I believe he left Newcastle because he can not play regularly. I think his game time has to be managed, otherwise he would play week in and week out.

Would love him in the squad at any time but as an impact sub he is very effective at the mo. Last 2 games he has helped to get us the points

The games he starts are more likely to be away from home IMO, with half hour sub appearances at the Amex. He's better when a game is open so he can exploit the space and pull defenders around, which is easier towards the end of games when teams are tiring, or in front of their own fans when they have to be more attacking. It's also not as easy as just saying "he needs to start" - he's not on the bench because he's out of favour, he's on the bench because he has a knee problem and can't play every game. The fact when he is on the bench he is the go-to "make an impact" player, and has been under Gus & Oscar, shows he is very valued by the coaching staff. It's just his fitness which is an issue, which is why he's rotated so carefully.

Spot on. Thought he did exactly the same against Doncaster. All of this seems to indicate that I might be wrong to want him to start, but still, I want him to start.

He was different class today. But March showed some amazing touches too, Rodney's speed is impressive and Bucks looked like he might be getting back to himself.

Definitely this. I think Soggy Marsh is going to be a great asset to us. He is young and very energetic. Having him on for the first hour exhausts the opponents defence. Getting them ready for Kaz to come on for the last 30 and tear them apart.
And when he put Buckley on the other wing they didn't know which way to turn.
OG the moment I heard you had left Maccabi I knew you were the man for us.

I think the treatment of Lua Lua has been perverse under Poyet and Garcia. He is consistently the most dangerous player and yet has hardly ever started a game. He will get fed up and leave I suspect and who could blame him. A football career is short enough anyway without capricious treatment from managers
Given his persistent injury problems, I think he can count himself lucky to have had the game time he has had.

This. With the emergence of March OG has been free to get the cotton wool out and give Kaz's injuries the fullest opportunity to recover. I have to say though this season he has become a 90minute player. If fully fit I would start him, I just wonder whether he is strong enough at the moment.
The improvement in Kaz's all round game this season has been nothing short of spectacular. He is a much more effective attacker with his delivery the best in the team, he is also one of our best tacklers, and his decision making in and out of possession shows an intelligence that is sorely lacking in his tweets!
That's not what he thinks apparently. As a spectator I want to see him play not some journeyman midfielder

If/when he does, he may well become first choice.
I think the point is that if he could play a whole game the way he played for just over 30 minutes against Leeds then we would all like to see him on for 90 minutes but the fact is he doesn't. That coupled with his injuries means he needs to be managed. He might not like it, I doubt any footballer would, but if he has sense he would see its the best way. I would like to see both Buckley and Lua Lua play 90 minutes but they both are very injury prone (in a dream world you would have both of them and solly March on!!!).

With March and Rodriguez able to play 60 minutes, and Buckly & Kaz on the bench we can go at teams at full pace for the whole game. It gives OG far more options and stretches teams in a way we've not done all season.
Kaz has been more effective against tiring defences, and I support OG is using him that way.
Kaz needs to stop talking to the press about how frustrated he is and accept that he is part of a team of 18 that are used to win football matches.

When he starts we are in a position of not being 100% sure of what to expect from our opponentx so tend to be a little more defensive thus he has defensive duties to perform which somewhat curtail his attacking ability. When he comes on for the last 30 mins we have established our play and he can go hell for leather at the defence without too much to worry about defensively.
