So was there a problem or was this another fairy story from the kids on NSC?

Do you know the situation at the moment? Are we trying for a loan to buy option? Or is it dead in the water?

We want loan/loan to buy, but Newcastle not interested.

'No deal' almost certainly.

Nobody else is gong to buy him though if thats the case, so the loan to buy may well still happen in my opinion...be another late one i think.

Why would Newcastle not want this. He's not going to be in their squad and we cant get insurance for him. Surely we can come to some sort of compramise. Theyll get a tiny amount of compensation if he goes on a free next season so a loan to buy would seem best suited for all parties. What a bunch of wankers

This is common knowledge because Andy Naylor has mentioned it

1. We mentioned it a week or two back.

2. Andy Naylor mentioned it this morning. In the very same tweet he also said CMS was going to QPR or West Ham.

1 + 2 = Andy Naylor knows what exactly?

Disappointing but lets move on. If there are more high profile players to come in then great. Fell sorry for Lua Lua, hope he gets fully fit and still joins us.

He made himself look abit of a plonker with his first tweet back. Do you know why Newcastle dont want this? I genuinely cannot see why they would want to keep him for a season in the reserves and let his contract run down. They have a big transfer fund after Carrolls sale last Jan so KLL has no chance with all the players theyre bringing in. I cant understand what theyre playing at?

Well I am bloomin grateful people post on here stuff they have heard. It is what the board thrives on. It wouldn't be much fun if the only source was the official site.

And why make disparaging comments about other posters ? It is a mystery.

I think we'll still sign him permanantly - perhaps late on - perhaps in January... Anyone know if his ankle will set better over time or indeed if that's the case whther he'll have another oporation to sort it?!

Lua Lua did have a medical down here, the results of which were not good. It'd be a big risk to bring him in on a perm deal, a loan to start would be the sensible thing to do, but from what others have said it sounds like Newcastle aren't interested.
