We are not alone in leaving it late. Newcastle have just revealed their new kits

They revealed it on July 1. There was a series of pics of ex-Norwood Barcelona goal-misser Marcus Gayle holding the shirt, the best one being of him saying "It's amazing to be at a big club and to come from where I've come is just a dream come true."

As per latest pics on twitter. Just the badge stuck on a template kit, no attempt to even change the badge to fit the colour of the shirt. **** off Nike please.

Ugh, it's a blue badge... I'm out

Cheap shit Nike. The sooner we switch the better in my opinion. They do not care about the club they provide for, the cheapest stock on mass production with a stuck on badge and sponsor. Absolutely pathetic from a company that size and status.

Must say, Adidas are the kings of kit manufacturing these days. Nike's efforts this year are pretty awful and Puma are very hit and miss.

But its all about the profit and they can bang it out at 50/60 quid and people will pay it.

In Berlin I saw the Hertha kit. Blue and white stripes. Actually its rather good and it is by Nike. But we wont get it thats for sure.

Adidas all the way IMHO, but Nike did something like this...

That was last year's. This year's is this one.

From what I can see, from only a few seconds looking, is the kids' shirt comes without a sponsor on it, presumably because it's gambling.

Even if we had this shirt, we'd have the same problem if Amex, as expected, wish their logo to have white space around it.

I like it.
Shame they couldn't be bothered to colour match the club badge. I'm sure on the green and black shirt first season at the Amex they managed to do a green badge.

Anyone else thinking/hoping this is a good sign for Kayal staying? Or nothing to read into it?

Yeah with black shorts and volt socks that could be very nice.

Nothing to read into it. Quite simply, the club cannot afford to let Kayal go, even if he is stalling on a contract extension. He and Stephens are that vital to our promotion chances. If one or either of them are allowed to depart we're doomed. Doooomed l tell thee.

Oh and yes, l like the new shirt, although not the collar.
