Kippers for breakfast..

Just filling in time during the International break and have just had kippers today with a poached egg on top. Havent had a kipper in years......Bloody fantastic. Next weekend..the return of the Black Pudding!

I love kippers but I don't know about the poached egg bit.

Certainly smoked haddock with 2 poached duck eggs and loads of black pepper Mmmmmmmm!!!

Although my wife recently did me fresh asparagus, wrapped with smoked salmon, and a boiled goose egg to dip it in, even more MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

The only time I eat breakfast is in the US when I've been on holiday & then it's the full set, bacon, eggs (over easy), hash browns or homefries & pancakes with maple syrup. Yum, yum.
Oh, and all the coffe you can drink.

I have either kippers or smoked mackerel for breakfast at least once a week. Favourite breakfast though is 2 eggs on fried bread with bacon and mushrooms.
