Rubbish, my brother had a very quick and early diagnosis with rapid treatment. NHS were brilliant but sadly his was an aggressive incurable one but because of his quick treatment he had an extra year. So stop suggesting this is some sort of class war.

Nope. I’m just contrasting this with the absolutely horrible time my sister in law had when she got her diagnosis and lost her job and house.
Given it hasn't been announced what type of cancer it is nor what stage it's at it's rather flippant to suggest "he'll get through it". Regardless of him getting private medical treatment or not. My father died of blood cancer which was diagnosed four weeks before he died despite him feeling pretty well up to a couple of weeks before his death - private healthcare would not have saved him.

and what happened to your sister is obviously awful, sad and desperate. But having seen how horrible a desease knows no bounds so closely It’s a shame you lack empathy for anyone else suffering it is.
My first line was “it’s a horrible disease”. It’s killed one in law and ruined another.
