It's bad, cramped no proper free weights, better off buying your own weights at home or going to fitness first in town.

Very cramped, not many machines, and very hot and sweaty in the gym. As someone else said theres not many free weights and you often have to wait for the weights machines as there is only one of most.
Im sure it was about £30 a month when i was a member, and that was student (16-21) i believe. Go to Corals or somewhere, much much cheaper and a far better gym.

Adults: Its £43 per month for adult (no joining this month, normally £50) but there's still a £20 admin
Off peak is £40 per month, but at weekends you can only go between 5.30 & 8

Juniors: Monday-Friday 12-3 Weekends 12-8
£20 per month + £20 admin fee or pay as you go = £18.80 for induction then £2.90 per go

Works out cheaper to buy a season ticket and watch the game like the rest of us do, rather than looking out of Kinetica's window ;-)

I dont know if im being a snob as was at Falmer for 10 years but i have been at withdean last year, leaving next month.i paid £33 for a student based membership. Its pretty shit in my opinion, its cramped, can get very busy, full of kids, theyve had machines that have been out of order for 6 month, dont impose and rules about having a towel/putting back weights etc. Surely you can find better....anyone a member of that new one dow the seafront?

I've been a Kinetica member for about eight centuries. It is essentially a bit shit, but they've finally updated some of the equipment at the Regent, plus it's unpretentious and you get swimming/sauna/steamroom with your membership, which is where the value is.

Yup, the wife is a member of The Gym, next to Brighton Pier.
Only £9.99 per month, open 24/7, 150 brand new machines, no sauna, pool, steam room or jacuzzi though. The Mrs is very happy with it & so am I as she was paying about 4 times that at Dragons.
