Very good drama series.
Did it go straight to iPlayer? I don't recall it being on BBC1 or BBC2. Its good enough for a 9pm slot on the Beeb. Totally gripping drama.

Just started the second series today. Gritty stuff and with Aiden Gillen you knew it had potential.

First series was great and I could even forgive the ' steal ' from the Godfather with the church scene

To be fair, the reviews back you up. I watched the first series when it came out and immediately went online to see if there was a second series coming. Found that not only was there a second series, but it had gone out in Ireland and all the reviews were excellent!

Very compelling and difficult to switch it off.

The actor who plays Bren was a frequent visitor to a bakery in Hastings, where my SIL used to work, a real gentleman.
