At 40 and blissfully single I voted for never, situation may change but the prospect of being in my late 50's, early 60's with teenage children petrifies me. Think the most likely prospect is that I meet someone who is either quite a bit younger than me and can provide the energy whilst I provide the wisdom, or someone who has already had a child/children, another option is of course adoption.

Early twenties when I had my first.

Had two more since then and another one due to arrive in about seven weeks time.

I don't think we're finished reproducing yet either.

 I dont know how you've done it!! Please dont tell me that you have managed child birth without the aid of an epidural either!! Doing it once was enough to put me off, oh and the fact my boy didnt sleep through the night until he was 6 years old!!

You women!

That is what you were made for...childbirth and looking after the children whilst the man is out hunting dinosaurs etc etc.

Sheesh

No epidurals! The boy was a hospital birth with gas and air, I had the girls at home in water with no pain relief! Planning a natural homebirth this time as well.

We've been very lucky that they have all been good sleepers. I keep thinking we're due an insomniac baby soon! lol

Yeah yeah, coming from a man who probably curls up and thinks hes dying when hes got 'man flu', I'd love for you to shit a football and then see what us women have got to go through!!

Starry, you must be a natural earth mother thats all I can say! I'm obviously a big wimp cos I wanted an epidural after half an hour and 1 cm dilated!!

Adriodinho: Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you the person who, in another thread, claimed to be "doing everyone a favour by leaving"?

That worked out well then, didn't it?

Yup...that's me in one.

You women dont understand illness anyway.... We suffer so much as we work so hard ( whilst you are slouched on the sofa watching day time TV and doing your nails) and are run down all the time any little bug we get is potentially fatal

32-35 probably. Have to find the wife first though! :p

I have got plenty of things I want to do before tying myself down. Move further in career, still plenty of countries to visit and so on.

To move further in your career try spending less time on NSC!!!
