2) 55+....Colin, Stephen, Raymond, Eric, Alan, Keith, Mick, Gary......Brenda, Susan, Denise, Patricia, Christine, Jacqueline, Wendy.

I know people with small children called Minnie, Martha, Beatrice, Arthur & George. Some of the really old names like that are quite fashionable- George has been popular long before it was used by the royals again. Loads of floral names for girls about, like Poppy, Ivy, Daisy & Violet. They used to be proper old lady names.
I think it's the names that were popular in the 1970s that are now low down the scale- the likes of Gary, Paul, Sharon, Karen, Tracey & Sandra. But they'll no doubt pop up again on lists in a few years time.
Though possibly Fanny/ Queenie won't ever make a comeback, I fear.
Might go for Marjorie & Ernest for my future offspring. Revive my grandparents' fine old names

You're having a laugh - if you go anywhere near kids these days, you'll find an Ollie - there are tons of them at my kids' school. Oliver is, in fact, the second most popular baby name in the UK (and has been for some time). Ollie is even more popular as it covers the Olivers and, as mentioned earlier, seems to be a name in its own right now.
Bradley's not far behind either, it's a name that pretty popular at school

I work with Jane & Judy, and know a Doug(las) in his 20's.
