A certain NSC poster has a son called Freddie

There's one in my son's class

George suffered a huge drop-off for a while but no doubt it'll be back now it's a Prince's name once more.

There's one in my daughter's class

The thing I notice most about kids' names now is the way that diminutives have become fashionable. At my kids' school there are various kids called Jack, Ollie, Harry, Charlie - and those are their full names. When did that become fashionable?

And when did Fin(n) become fashionable? I know of three kids with this name, unheard of when I was young.
