Kids for a fiver?

Would that have filled the ground?

I have to say the empty seats disappointed me, for a club with Premiership aspirations we have to continually build the fan base, a 'new bum' on a seat even if only paying a fiver for it would be better than an empty seat surely?

An adult and 2 kids for £37 for the Newcastle match didn't fill the ground completely so i'm not sure it would have made much difference in this case

Or charge a fair price for the tickets in the first place. 3rd round tie just after Xmas against an average Premier league side

 maybe if we were playing Nuneaton rather than Newcastle.......if we draw Everton at home in the 4th round will you be singing the same boring tune?

I think that quite a few STH didnt go today. My family of 4 STH didnt go due to the early kick off and other arrangements for Saturday morning
I think you are right. My brother and his son didnt go and they are STH. Just after christmas a lot of people are low on cash and what with it being on TV too I think it just made it easy for people. Its fine. We've come a long way.

Kids could have gone today for £4 or £7 dependant on age in family stand. I think that is pretty reasonable. I agree that highest price ticket was a lot but kids prices are pretty good.

I hope the club will now realise that attendance is price sensitive even in an affluent town like ours. Nothing worse than seeing rows of empty seats when a team are in front of the cameras.

21,740 that is what we got today. Look at all the other championship clubs, look at some of the premier clubs. We got more then Wigan and QPR put together. That must be a real headache. We had a lunchtime kick off and on the TV and after Christmas. That is an excellent gate. A lot of non season ticket holders turned up today and were treated to a good atmosphere and a good result. It's all positive and a lot of people who went today, may want a ST in the future.

Agree people need to now forget it. We got a shed load more than most and those that did bothe,r paid the going rate, those that didn't were able to watch it on tv. Move on for Christ sake
