I was told of a website a couple of years ago that prove that KFC is not actually fully grown chicken does anybody know which site this is.

How are you actually supposed to EAT that though ? I mean its ok holding a bun, but holding onto two bits of (rather greasy) chickenbreast in the same way while you chow it down is taking us back to CAVEMAN times. The mess must be horrendous.
I admit I am partial to the odd Zinger, but thats where I draw the line with KFC. Their chicken pieces are revoltingly slimey. And I really don't think I could bring myself to sit there with two lumps of chickenbreast in my paws pretending its some kind of sandwich.

It has only just come out in the US. See Link below from KFC US.
KFC Double Down - KFC.com
It was featured in the Sun last week, various people complaining about it.
KFC claim that it only has around 540 Cals in it, however the Sun claim that it has in excess of 1200 cals.

A lot of massed produced chicken will be a fast growing breed that gets to "maturity" at a very young age.
One way to test for the "quality" of chicken is to see how straight the leg bone is after you've finished a drumstick.
Sometimes, the leg bones haven't matured enough to hold the weight of the bone.
Simply, the bone will be bent.

The 540 calories are AMERICAN calories which are only 40% of normal calories.
