when will his legs give out on him? Who knows - he may or may not last a full season and might need careful management but when it does happen he will be the first one to walk away. Only got a contract extension with Blues last summer because other deals fell through but he still wants to play. You will guess that I would give him a go but I don't think it will happen for various reasons including salary and location - at this stage of his playing career a move back down south might not be ideal family-wise.

But yes you're right..........it's going to be a long long summer but be honest it'll be very very enjoyable with more wild speculation and false rumours than ever. I for one absolutely love it!

Don't think it will happen . Gus is building for the future. He proved that with Nicky Forster.

Nope, too old and probably too expensive. If we are serious about building a Championship squad, I trust Gus to do better than go for a quick fix or easy option like Phillips. There will be much younger better value for money out there somewhere.

That's actually a really good shout. Still only 27, definitely knows where the onion bag is, and will get 20 a season if stays injury free.
