Ketchup on roast dinner?

Ketchup has it's place, but roast dinner is definitely not it. Smacks to me of a poor palate, that needs something sweet, as it is largely sugar. I love it on the right things, but not on decent, properly prepared food.

Never! My partner is far to liberal when it comes to giving the kids Ketchup, or red sauce as my northern friends call it. We have had to have words as to what is appropriate use of Ketchup and what is not, but she would never encourage on Roasts! Thank god.
