Kerry Mayo Testimonial Match :Re-Scheduled for JULY 2006

STOP-PRESS

After a meeting tonight it has been decided to re-schedule the testimonial for JULY 2006 as part of the pre-season.

It is anticipated that Wardy and Zamora will still feature.

The reason for the re-schedule was for a number of reasons, including the availability of opposition (Sept 2nd was international weekend and we wanted stars!), plus in july 2006 there will be 9000 seats available therefore providing additional fund raising opportunities for Kerry.

There is still a programme of testimonial events planned throughout the next 12 months, the first of which will be a Boxing night at Hove Town Hall on October 6th.

A testimonial brochure will also be available and will go on sale at the end of this month.

I apologise for any inconveniance caused

Tickets go on sale shortly - hopefully around the end of this week or early next week. We are working with the club on this.

It will be at Withdean on Friday September 2nd at 7:45pm

No decision has yet been made with regards to Season Ticket Holders. We will take advice from the club in this respect. Again, an announcement will be made shortly.

I'd still rather have seen Spider Mellor back in the stripes...but if you have to have a stand-in for him, I suppose Bobby Z's not a bad option.

Will we be able to make postal applications for tickets?

I'm dribbling over my keyboard at the prospect of this one - which is gaining me some strange looks from my colleagues!!!

Yes you will .. We intend for tickets to be made available from the club ticket office by all usual methods - Post; Phone and in person.

Obviously, as per normal restrictions, tickets will not be available on the night
