The news only reports what it is told to report.
People in care homes are not even being tested, nor being admitted to hospital, so won't be included in official figures.

TB, the rules have changed.
Google it........sorry I am useless at links!::D
There is an article in the Guardian featuring a picture of Sir Patrick Vallance.

Shows how daft they are. Johnson can't even face down Press Questions.

He is hiding behind the virus. Extending his self isolation beyond recommended periods. It would be so simple to set up a Public Address to take Press questions by video. Other Specialists are managing to go on TV and answer questions while in lockdown.

The man is so full of sh!t. Yet he is a coward when it comes to facing down the people of the country when the going gets tough.

Wow...and you have proof that he hasn’t got the virus and hasn’t got a temperature...proof..you know facts?

Or are you just posting what you think?

I pretty much agree with you, but the point I was making is that he'd have done a better job on CV19 than Johnson, and I stand by that.

...again absolute supposition!

Before condemning, our Government, out of hand, I suggest we see how this all pans out throughout the world, but in the meantime learn from each other.
Undoubtably mistakes will have been made by Governments, medics and scientists as we are basically dealing with the unknown and there are always will be plenty of differing opinions about the best course of action.

P.S.I seem to recall you made a right prat of yourself in your early calls on the virus.......just saying.

Hang on. You seem to be saying it's ok for the people who we entrust our lives to, to make mistakes but not random people on the internet. Not very consistent, nor the right way round.

I forgive you, after all, 'to err is human'.. Everyone makes mistakes, Governments, organisations, society and individuals. I just hold the view that it is wrong to 'shitstorm' the Government at this time.
As the Times says,'There will be plenty of time for a full public enquiry into mistakes.'

They don't, which is the point I am trying to make. The official figures only include those who have been tested. Others will be written down as pneumonia. 13 deaths in this one Glasgow home, but only suspected CV19. Will they test the dead?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-52165397

The BBC also reported one death and another positive at Oaklands home in Hove. They were obviously testing there. It's just too simple to announce that no testing is being done.

You are ignoring what I posted.

I never said he didn't have the virus. I said he is hiding behind it.

He has said himself that his symptoms are mild. And I said that others with the virus have been able to go on TV and face Reporters questions via video links and other social media.

He is the Prime Minister. The elected head of the country. He could easily have had the facilities set up for him to address questions.

Of course he could. His initial address to the nation for the lockdown was him on his own in a room. He could easily have a single camera-man masked up and suited if necessary to take an address, or as you say just use a video link like everyone else is. Completely hiding unless of course his symptoms are a lot worse than is being reported.

With Angela Rayner as deputy, according to the FT, with Rayner winning on the third round, Starmer on the first

I have relatives who live in Angela Rayner’s constituency.

It’s rock solid Labour but she is very unpopular with local people there. More interested in her profile apparently.......
