Up at Rochdale they have been using dozens of braziers to keep the frost at bay last night and this morning. The game was called off anyway!

I was just wondering if this was the trick of the trade back in the day, because I have never seen them used before on a football pitch with covers and under soil heating being common across the country.

there is an old boy lives near us who has abotu six braziers in his garden, strategically positioned to protect his plants from frost. he says it works.
