All depends if you like greasy kebab for soaking up booze or actual decent food. Kambis, near Norfolk Square, does a great shwarma as does Nayeb on Church Rd.

May I recommend Yefsis in London Rd Brighton ( opposite where Blockbusters used to be ). In the 10 years that I've worked in London Road the property where Yefsis is situated has been numerous take aways, some ok but most pi55 poor. In less than a year Yefsis has established itself as a very popular retaurant/take away, its menu is Greek street food and the fact it is often crammed full of customers is a testiment to its delicious food. It is popular and booking would be wise and as there can be many people dining at the same time it can seem a little cosy!

^Good shout on Yefsis. If in a rush then the Greek cart outside Churchill Square is just as good.

AA Charcoal Grill, Lewes Road is the best in Brighton for my money.

Kambis in Western Road, Brighton or Anatolia Restaurant in St James Street, Brighton.

Both excellent. Suggest the latter.

Another vote for Anatolia. Went there with some friends recently, and they do a share platter for however many of you there are. Basically, huge platters of every type of kebab there is. Meat, meat, and a bit more meat. Bloody lush. And as a bonus, they have EFES beer as well. What's not to like
