Well fcuk me have I hit the jackpot. When decent cds come they come in sixes.

This I'm sure will piss many an NSCer off but Keane's new cd has not let me down, even if the opening track is a bit kacky.

The boys from Battle come up LARGE again.

Hold on...............track three is kicking in...........David Bowie's Ashes to Ashes gone pear-shaped.......

Your thoughts, abuse welcome

I'll have a listen. I got to like their 1st album as my wife played it for bloody months and I eventually conceded it was a pretty good album. the 2nd one sounded just the same so i didn't bother with it.

is this one any different in style and vocal delivery?

Being Tonbridge School public school boys has a lot to do with the abuse they get imo.

Actually Icy the more I listen to it the worse it gets (I have just put it on my itunes this minute) but I will make myself listen to it and like it. Love Is The End, the last track is the standout track . Nice song to send me off before I turn the lights out over here in Nippon.....

Will check them out. Don't get the exposure over here to the latest scenesters but Glasvegas, a Tom Hark Preston Park recommendation has gone down a treat. Who are Elbow like?

That and making f***ing DULL music.

Music for people that don't like music...

My music taste is as follows. I have Leftfield Leftism on as I write this, My favourite albums are Pearl Jam Ten and Rage Against the Machine - Rage against the machine. I've bought or download an album a week for as long as I can remember.

I like Keane and have Somewhere only we know on my favourites. There, I've said it. I feel Liberated. I f***ing hate Snow Patrol though.

I really dislike Spiralling, think it has as much of a negative shock as Bloc Party's "Mercury" and it instantly turned me off this album. Luckily the second track "The Lovers Are Losing" is the standout for me and brought some interest back. Overall, my least favourite Keane album so far, but shows a few positive signs.
