How would we have got our first goal yesterday then?
The flogging the dead horse of supersub is hilarious by some on here
I'm not really sure of your point ?

The player you think so lacks concentration that he cannot start created the first goal yesterday with his concentration
The goal was within the first 15 minutes. Much like he normally is decent when he comes on for the last 20mins.
What do you think of the general merits of taking the game to the opposition early then?
Probably not best use of subs to have to take someone off after 30mins though eh?
Well yeh. But your contention that he can only play for 20 minutes is fairly ridiculous, so a non sequitur in this case.
He played 88 minutes during our 4-1 victory at Leicester, to remind you.
Lua Lua roughly translates as 'start start' in Flemish.
*there may be a small lie in there somewhere.
I'd say that's fair - my worry is the very flat half hour after he went off. JFC did Oscar a big favour by sticking that third away as we reverted to type with a lot of possession but little penetration - lets hope Buckley gets fit quickly and maybe even get Jeff M back from Crawley - no more excuses on injuries please, we need attacking players who can beat their man to make the possession football workAt times this year when he's started, he's been the only threat so the opposition cotton on quickly and double or triple up on him, and mark him out of the game. That's why at times when he's started, he's not been so effective.
It seems in the last couple of games we have more than one than one threat, what with Lingard and March, which gave Kaz a bit more freedom to do his thing. He had an immense first 15 minutes, but then after that I'd say he was good, but not fantastic. I still think he can drift out of games, someone mentioned concentration, maybe it's that, maybe something else.
I'd say, as long as we've got other creative outlets on the pitch, then start him.
Exactly. If he's fit enough to play as well as the last couple of games, there's nothing to discuss.Has the last couple of games not answered that question
Astute observation. There are numerous advantages it seems of the way we've set up in the last couple of games, and Kaz have more room to operate in is most certainly one of them. Having two other players roaming around behind Leo who can and will run at players with pace must make life so much more difficult for opposing teams when looking to suss out and stifle our key threat(s). Certainly I wouldn't know who to mark given how frequently they were interchanging yesterday. At times this year when he's started, he's been the only threat so the opposition cotton on quickly and double or triple up on him, and mark him out of the game. Earlier in the season, I would have said he should only be a sub. But he is playing very well at present when starting - so thats the best option.
On a side note, the "booing" yesterday when he was subbed was a bit of a joke. It was a good decision to bring him off as he was already carded and we need him badly for Easter Weekend.
Please tell me you're joking and that this did not happen?Earlier in the season, I would have said he should only be a sub. But he is playing very well at present when starting - so thats the best option.
