Not a pop at you OP as I think this one works well considering - more a pop at West Ham & Arsenal singing this about Payet and Ozil (like it's their own but I believe Celtic were the first to sing this to Paddy - much like the St Pauli song palace seem to claim  ) BUT:

To sound right lines 1&2 - 3&6 - 4&5 are meant to be the rhyming ones. McCourt song worked as 3 & 6 were 'understand' and 'hands'. This new version ala West Ham & Arsenal is wrong in theory and hence sounds odd. Picking I know but it's grated me since I heard it - bit like the awful Garcia / Away rhyme in that Oscar song...:

But don't tell my heart
My achy breaky heart
I just don't think he'd understand
And if you tell my heart
My achy breaky heart
He might blow up and kill this man

This made me chuckle.

I will give it a go. If it dont catch on then it dont catch on. Just feel like he needs a song and we havent got any real songs for players at the moment.

Dunk should be credited with hes one of our own. I know its a nod to calde but he already has his own. This should be sung for
Dunk.

Kayal would suit a Noel Noel but I havent heard it going yet. So will try this.

Hemed could also be given a song. Along the lines of a few about at the moment...

To the tune of free from disire.

Hemeds on fire, your defence is terrified, hemeds on fire your defence is terrified. Na na na na na na na na na na.

I realise a lot of these wont go down well with the older crowd but plenty of the 18-35 crowd might be able to see the fun side in things.

I will happily join in with any player songs. I heard a Connor Goldson one on Sat to 'no limit' I think which worked well. Lewis Dunk he's one of our own is good and should catch on. Gaetan Bong m'Lord is an easy one too.

What about a recycle of the Paul Watson one which was one only we sang that I know of. Dale Stephens or Sam Baldock maybe (although what is considered 'long' note is up for debate: Dale Stephens wooah, Dale Stephens wooah. He's been here for so long; and now he's got a song...
