Kayal is the key to this new run of form.

It really shows up the average quality we've had I'm midfield that Kayal looks head and shoulders above them all

Absolute bargain. Well done to whoever arranged that particular transfer for what is, in hindsight, a low fee

That's Hughton's doing. He was after him when at Norwich. I love the crispness of Kayal's passing, and the snap of his tackle, but agree with tom Hark, that Texieira has been pulling the strings of late.

A superb player, absolute class. We must keep him fit, him Texiera & Ince is an outstanding midfield trio.

Imagine how good he looked playing against AFC Wimbledon U21s... :lolol:

You didn't need to be Peter Taylor to spot that he was quite handy.

He's been absolutely brilliant. I think he is the key to our new confidence going forward, and undoubtedly been a huge factor in Tex's recent run of form. Always wants the ball, instantly playing it forward, he's got our midfield buzzing. He's really been the difference to me, and is lifting everyone around him. Good work son.

Love the position he picks up just in front of our left centre half and left back as soon as we have the ball in a deep position. It pushes Bennett down the line a bit more, which forces their winger back deeper. Domino effect being more space opens up in the midfield, as Kayal shows immediate intent to not only to carry the ball, but to spray it anywhere he notices a gap. Very clever player.

Definitely. I like Greer, but Kayal is constantly organising things, high 5ing players, shouting at them but most of all, he leads by example. Lots of momentum going forward and not scared to get stuck in.

Kayal is the player Holla should have been
Fortunately Holla is the dead ball player that Kayal (and anyone else for the Albion) should have been.

Nah Beram delivered a couple of wonderful corners last nite. Against Brum they were JFC/Dean Cox esque but it will come. Is there nothing Beram cant do?

When Kayal gate the ball he likes to drive forward either with a pass or running with the ball. When JFC received the ball it was either an easy pass square or backwards, JFC is still young and hopefully will look and learn.

Transformed the midfield - ages since a new player has had such a positive impact so soon
