What I found odd was that usually if you fail to attend court and an arrest warrant is issued, when the OB grab you, you are banged up in a cell until you are placed before a judge. She was immediately granted bail which seems totally daft for someone who has a history of skipping bail. Not the first time she has been given preferential treatment. Another sign of our weak judiciary?

What a sad life you live, whilst not condoning her actions, I know people who have worked with her at the yards etc and she's apparently a decent and nice person, but quite clearly, has some issues.

Just a friendly heads up, i might be wrong but i think her brother may be a member of this parish so please curb the insults out of possible respect to him and her family

In the interest of balance I used to really fancy her brother! Her Mum & Dad are lovely, Katie started to go off the rails before she'd left senior school. fame at a young age didn't help. She's made some piss poor decisions, simple as. The argument that it's very difficult bringing up a disabled child on your own, is a valid one but she's never had to do it on her own. Even if she did have to do it on her own there's no excuse for drink/drug driving & then continuously taking the piss whilst driving without a licence and uninsured. Who's going to pick up the tab if she seriously injures someone whilst shes merrily driving around thinking the rules don't apply to her. She's not insured so who's going to pay for care for any innocent person suffering from life changing injuries that she could've caused. Harvey is financially set up for life, as far as his care costs go (as far as I'm aware).
She probably does have mental health issues, if she was running around with a knife threatening to kill people we wouldn't say 'Oh but she has mental health issues & has to look after her disabled son'. Driving around in a 3 ton lump of metal pissed & whatever else, makes her just as dangerous as she would be if she was walking around with a knife. I can appreciate that there is no intention to cause others harm when she's driving but isn't there a saying, something like... The 1st time is a mistake but the 2nd time of doing the same thing is a conscious decision.
