If this were the first or maybe second occasion then I could accept your reasoning but this is the FIFTH time and its a reasonably well publicised case which is sending out the message we are not strong enough on drink drivers.

I respect that argument but I think it's flawed;Unless she addresses her behaviour and coping strategies there will be a sixth, seventh, eighth time. Eventually she'll be up for causing death by dangerous driving and bereaved relatives will be asking "why didn't anyone stop her ?"

But that's only 18 months so no hardship - for her.





Not quite the same for any one of the thousands of families, annually, who's lives have been ruined by such actions.

I think you’ve hit the nail on its head. It was a single vehicle incident, no other party involved. Plus she admitted everything (drink and drugs) to the police very early on in hospital.

Except is its 5th conviction and ignoring a court order. I can understand the suspended sentence being a deterrent (if she doesn't comply with rehab and do her community service she'll still go to prison) but the ban doesn't feel long enough. If it were any of us I'm sure we'd be looking at 5 years ban for drink drugs driving with that history, even though its a single vehicle incident its stlll the 5th time she broken the law. It almost feels like the judge accepts nothing they do will stop her.

She has problems, and her life won't end happily, but I can't see any mitigating circumstances that mean she should not have the appropriate length of ban.

Been seeing these adverts about her latest reality show renovating her "Mucky mansion", think i'd sooner drink my own piss than watch that rubbish!...... There is just no place she will not stoop, no relationship off limits if it gives her another 5 minutes of fame. It all feels really desperate.

What is she going to do in another 10 years? when no production company or gutter tabloid is interested in her?, she already looks like mutton dressed as lamb.

I have to respectfully comment on this. Whilst I agree Katie Price obviously has issues and needs help or punishment depending on how you view her, she is in no way up there with Katie Hopkins who in my opinion is vile and vicious.

Used to see her in the Pav Tav back in the day. Recently saw her on the tv advert (for the first time in years) and wouldn't recognise her as the same girl. Not a pleasant woman.

I have never liked her, however, I do now think that she is in great need of a mental health intervention.

Hopefully, her children are being looked after by someone more stable than their mother.
