I'm not her greatest fan, indeed I detest the woman having met her on business and being dictated too on terms.
But I want you to put yourself in her shoes for a minute, and I'm not 100% up on this story.
She has a drink problem?
She has lost her licence.
Her beloved son is away from her.
That morning she was on TV talking about her issues and as such probably piled all her worries up in her head. Unable to cope she had a drink which worsened her worries and stress. She wanted to see her son. And so off she went.
Yes it's wrong and yes lock her up but she does need help and should get it somehow.

First and foremost, the public need protection from her driving antics. banned from driving many times and currently banned, yet still drives AND apparently does so when drunk too.
That being the case, needs jail time. Maybe in there she'll get the help she needs.

This! Needs a wake up call before she kills someone. I have little sympathy and still query how I'm the past she made so much money with so little discernible talent.

She clearly has issues and a self destruct button but also doesn’t help herself. She came across really well on CBB and I think even won it. But does seem to have this other side to her. Sad. Needs help and hope she gets it. Drink driving is not acceptable ever.

I have mixed feelings with celebrities and wealthy individuals and their issues. Whilst I feel for them, my sympathies lie more with those in a similar situation who don’t have the means, resources and finances to get the help they need. If she wants help, it will be available. The same cannot be said for many regular people.

So it happened after she was on GMB this morning?

She really needs some help proper help to get over what ever is/has troubled her.

She was even saying on GMB that she hadn't got her license back yet. She looked very on edge and jumpy to me

There's more sympathy on here than I would have imagined.
While I'm not a monster (neither is Pav) but this is the only answer:-

I don't give a shit how famous she is, the woman has had 6 driving bans in the last 10 years including this latest incident that occurred whilst disqualified from driving.

I live in the same area as her and she is a positive menace. The woman needs to be locked up, if only to protect other road users. Somebody could have died because of her selfish actions.

She has had a lifetime of opportunities to 'deal with her demons'.
She's also had the means to do it with some of the best care available.

She hasn't.

She is a loathsome **** of a human being. How many more chances does she need to be given before she kills someone?
Bang the stupid, rough bint up.

This is the nub - MH problems, 'getting the help she needs' etc etc.....the bottom line is any unstable, disqualified driver out there drink/drugged up (or both) hurtling around in a range rover is quite possibly going to kill someone. If this is the case (innocent until proven guilty of course) then such a person shouldn't be left in a position to be able to do it.

Hadn't realised I'd stolen your words.

I got as far as Pavilionaire and thought 'that's far enough'.

Had I gone a bit further I could have quoted you both and just written 'this'.

.

Although one report I read stated she had been drinking and taking cocaine, and having run out of coke set off in her car to get some more.

How true the report is, we will find out in time if also charged with drug driving as well as drink driving.

She used to live up here, the only menacing thing then, was her voice.

I hate to put down someone who obviously has some deep seated problems but

Having been bought up on a council 'sink' estate where the majority had mental health and 'substance abuse' type problems. I am still incredibly angry how society cast them aside and they never got anything like the chances she has had. Good luck Katy

She was bought up in Patcham, hardly a ‘sink’ estate , it’s gone a bit downhill since I left but it’s not as bad as West Durrington.

pretty sure would have done jail time by now if not a woman. might have done her a favour, but she's allowed to continue as she pleases with little consequence. story of her life.
