No probably not.

However, he's been playing top flight football since Christmas so to say the bloke isn't good enough to play at that level is a joke.
Is it? For one thing he's been in and out of the team.

Secondly he is in a team that has been relegated - which would sugest they, and he, are not good enough.

I find it interesting that he has played almost exclusively out wide for them....

I went to the Sheff Utd game yesterday. The fans there think he has talent and if the application goes with it, then he will turn into a very fine player. They also think that at £150k they got a steal. Which it was.

When he came on yesterday he didn't do anything that would change the game. So very hopeful (not looking) punts into the box.

Anyway, good luck to him. He wasn't interested in us (which wasn't nice), got the offer from Sheff Utd and took it (which anyone of us would take). I think the issue is why we let him go so cheaply.

But we've debated that to death.

Quite right. The talent was never in doubt. If he finds the application he will be a very fine player indeed. And I hope he does.

You have quotation marks around "Colin Kazim-Richards" not around Colin Kazim-Richards is the greatest footballer in the World which was supposed to be the quote.

I always felt that Sheff Utd didn't have enough quality to stay up, despite the best motivational efforts of Warnock, who I like and rate (at least he says what he thinks).

CKR is part of that issue: he potentially has the raw talent but has never looked like applying it on a consistent enough basis there or with us to be of practical value to his team.

Sheff Utd went down because they could not score enough goals, and he was part of that problem.

He has talent but needs to consistently make goals or score goals to be effective. I can't see either happening because, like Leon Knight, he ain't got it up top.

People took CKR's departure very personally, possibly rightly so. He is a quality player, I hope he goes on to greater things, because a talent like his deserves it. Makes me laugh people saying he was an "arrogant twat", because when he was with us, people who met him in the street said he was a very nice, affable man.

don't get peoples problem with CKR he was(is) a good player who was playing in a struggling team playing less than attractive football.

Obviously someone (i.e. Warnock) saw that he had talent and snapped him up once McGhee had lost the plot. Not really his fault is it. Pretty sure most of our players would have left if a club in the premiership, no matter if they were going to stuggle or not, had come in for them
