I know I might get shot down here but I cannot for the life of me understand how any manager worth his salt could really believe that CKR is good enough for the Premier League based on the form he showed for us.

Is it any wonder Sheffield Utd find themselves back in the Championship.

CKR is,in his own mind, better than Pele.

And I agree.

The Southampton one.

i think he would be best suited at a preston sized club, in a way too big for Championship but could not handle premership

No probably not.

However, he's been playing top flight football since Christmas so to say the bloke isn't good enough to play at that level is a joke.

Best player at this club since Zamora, f***ed up by McGhoo!! Good luck to the lad!

He looked quite lively in his first season in a below standard Prem team and put some great crosses in.

Put it this way i think he will be playing in a much higher div than McGhee will ever manage in.

I suppose we will have to wait on that one.

:)

Playing under MAGOO only set the lad back a couple of seasons, otherwise he'd be Pele. Watch Arsenal sign him and turn him into the new Thierry Henry

Obviously CKR was to big for the club, and he hated being called the Coca Cola Kid, however he needs to remember that before he came to the Albion he was a nobody.

Now hopefully like so many other players we get promoted next season :nono: :nono: and we can meet each other next season.

We've done this debate to death but it was clear at Brighton that CKR had talent but very little application. Warnock has at least made him run which is more than I ever saw him do in the stripes (except one or two rare occasions).

What I do find amusing is that Sheffield United went down by one goal. What if they had kept Billy Sharp 2 seasons ago and not sold him for a packet of pork scratchings and a pint of mild? Surely a better bet in a relagation dogfight than a disinterested Colin?

I'm still annoyed that he went so cheaply.

He's very young still. He COULD be a good Prem player. The skill is definitely there.

The guy has a talent and it clearly was of Premiership standard as otherwise he wouldn't have played in it - FACT.

Whether he gets back to it is another matter but he would have helped our cause this season and used properly would have scored/created 20 plus goals.

Shame we lost him but life moves on :drink: :drink:
