He's got an in form card now. A very cheap in form card. Probably the cheapest I've ever seen !

Based on his youtube clips, he does have a decent touch, speed, strength and composure in front of goal. He seems very clinical scoring from all angles along with a few volleys. He also showed some nice link up play in his highlights reel when he opened up the oppositions defence with a nice one two followed by a nutmeg and then a Thierry Henry type finish.

At 12 million smackers, this does look like a very good target.

It's almost as if every time he put one into row Z they decided not to include it in his video.

If they were the only clips they could muster you could (almost) produce a similar number for Mark Farrington (albethey in the County Cup and reserves)! I never trust a short synopsis as they would never show any duff bits.

Well this video is apparently all his goals from this season alone. 11 in the video, I make it 3 with his left, 6 with his right, 1 header, 1 penalty. Heavily involved in the build-up play for several, and most of them are very nice goals indeed.

Yes please from me

All these posts on targets are making us sound rather desperate, Elvis looked great on the video. It appears now, that the Premier league has more money than there are players available, which is driving up the price of every striker be they good, bad or indifferent. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't sign a striker and given whats been on offer, I wouldn't be bothered if we didn't.

This guy looks like the most viable option in my opinion. If we are only looking at 1 striker coming in CH will be after someone who can play up front on his own. I can't see him being keen to change formation midway through a season where we are exceeding expectations in midtable.

It makes more sense than what I saw yesterday which was that we and Leicester were prepared to pay Porto 40 million euros to trigger the release clause for Moussa Marega !

"stepping up interest" reports The Argus or at least the French club think Albion will be.
via: http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/15812773.Albion_expected_to_up_interest_in_striker_Ekambi/

"ANGERS are expecting Albion to step up their interest in Karl Toko Ekambi.
The Cameroon international is among the names on the Seagulls’ ‘cluster list’ of striker targets.
According to reports, the Seagulls have already made one bid of around £12.4 million for the powerful 25-year-old.
Ekambi came on in the second half for Ligue 1 strugglers Angers in a 2-0 home defeat by Lorient yesterday in the French Cup.

Florin Andone, another of the names on Albion’s list, was also in action last night for Deportivo La Coruna as they resumed their La Liga campaign.
The Romanian scored a late equaliser, his second goal in as many games, with a downward header to earn Deportivo a 1-1 draw at Villarreal
Celtic’s Moussa Dembele and Spartak Moscow’s Ze Luis are of interest as well to Albion but they are more likely to add to their attacking options this month with a permanent signing from Europe."

When a bid is rejected what do the club do?

Sit around a bit ? Why not just send the next upped bid straight over?
