'The Bear' in temporary charge!
Reckon so....
"Robinson was the third longest-serving manager in all four divisions, with only Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Exeter manager Paul Tisdale having been in post longer."
[emoji38]Richie Barker to take over or will he be on his way as well i wonder. Robinson plays football the way it should be played. He's up there with Pep in most peoples minds. The Arsenal job might be available this coming summer. Karl might want to spend some time in New York mulling over that possibility.
This completely.Gus Poyet took league one apart. We were promoted in April playing some of the best football I've seen at that level, all without a proper training ground and a non league "stadium" and similar sums of money to Robinson has had.
I'm not saying Robinson is a terrible manager, I'm saying he has always been vastly overrated. What has he done? One promotion at a bigger than average league one club in however many seasons he's had. Not brilliant tbh.

We have a very good one. But I wouldn't necessarily say THE best.
I'm going to get clobbered for saying this, but the likes of Eddie Howe and Alan Pardew both manage sides in the Premier League. That alone has to say something for them.
CH also managed in the Premiership. Took Norwich to 11th and was 12th with Newcastle when sacked and was 16th when sacked by Norwich when 5 points clear of the bottom 3 with only 4 games to go.
I don't say he is any better than the others you mention but his record is comparable and if he had been given the budgets that those Managers have had the he would have eclipsed their achievements. His buys at Norwich in people like Howson, Snodgrass, Tettey and Redmond, Fer, Olsson would all sell or have been sold for at least 3 times what he paid for them. The only blip in his copy book was Ricky Van Wolfswinkel but even Ricky is a very good player, his style of play just wasn't suited to a struggling Premiership side.
He also brought the Murphy twins into the first team at age 17 and they are regulars in the Norwich first team now.
In fairness to his successor, those matches were Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
