If we did want him we would have to pay some compensation to MK. Does anyone know what his contract length is currently?

End of this season, according to Wiki.

It makes me wonder if he would use us to see how much we are willing to pay him, and then go back to MK to sign a new and improved contract. That is what we are generally used for.

What he has done at the Dons is similar to Eddie Howe and Bournemouth. He has been their manager since 2011, has built a good side and has a strong chance of promotion. The difference with the Dons and Bmouth is that they have a decent stadium with a 30k capacity.

If we save ourselves from relegation, without him, and he gets the Dons promoted, they will have the more established team of core players than us and are likely to finish above us, if he is also as good as we think he is.

I am not sure what we can offer him more than what he has established at the Dons?

Seems like another nice bloke. I'd love to see some old fashioned horrible git, like a Pulis or an Allardyce. Never thought I'd say it, but there you go.
I would love to see Pulis come in & have compete control of on the pitch matters, from the academy to the first team. His hand picked staff & of course only he would pick the players. We need a good shake up, & I can't see anyone not even proven at this level being the man to do it.

Just been reading the 'Concrete Jungle' forum. Consensus is, why would he risk coming here?

Admit Brighton have better set up, attendances etc. But both clubs potential is same, once they have achieved promotion. Would look better on his CV if he took MK up. New house, kids settled at school.

Noted Hyppia was a miserabilist, Robinson is of the same ilk.

Conclusion: They are not worried, because he won't accept the job.

One obvious difference is that we're, you know, an actual football club.

I wouldn't go that far, or before you say it, Billy Davies!

Never really rated Davies.
Evans has a great eye for a player and wouldn't stand for c*nts like Kemy.
Check out his win % - about 44%, higher still if you discount his second spell at Boston.
