If it wasn't for that game against Newcastle were he was desperate to break Barton then I'd give him the benefit of doubt, but I can see he's just a dirty bastard

Impressive start to the season for the lad. First, he commits 4 or 5 shocking tackles on Joey Barton which are highlighted on Match of The Day, then he breaks Zamora's leg, then he does THAT.

Committed, that boy.

There are too many Karl Henry horror tackles around to excuse him. The tackle on Bobby was an unlucky one but if you go in like a vicious dirty cheat who cant time an egg let alone a tackle, more often than not injuries, and serious ones at that will happen.

Red cards do not seem to be stopping him thus far, why not ban him for a few months to get the message home.

A cowards challenge.A challenge from the worst reaches of any 1970's Sunday League game.

Wolves can f*** off.

They are scum, there fans were chanting "we cant tackle anymore" and "The Premiership is full of shit" after ever GBH foul given against them.

No doubt that thick twat McCarthy will stick up for him horror challenge and as a player seems to enjoy the reputation as was seen in Newcastle game. Let's hope he does a gazza and seriously injures himself when he makes his next career threatening challenge

The FA really need to act very hard on thugs like this and impose a minimum 3 month ban.

The worst thing with Henry is that deep down, I think there is an acceptable Premiership footballer in there somewhere. Some of the criticism heaped on Wolves is a little bit harsh, they aren't as bad as the likes of Blackburn footballing-wise and they have to make do with what they have, which is essentially a good Championship team. However, Mick's abrasive, defensive attitude towards the media does not do him any favours, nor does Henry clattering into people every week. Seeing how he 'played' against Barton the other week, I seriously wonder whether he has some issues that are affecting him outside of football. It is really irrational to be quite that violent.

I had the fortune to see them a few weeks ago, They are a horrid side and its not just Henry.

Other sides have a smaller budget and dont go into leg breaking tackles every week.
