He can only put 9 players on the bench and hes close to having 2-3 more fit first team players available most matchdays now as the injuries have healed.

With so many Japanese coming to the Amex just to watch him, should he not play many will be very unhappy.

You don't ice cramp, you warm it. As per usual no one knew anything. He was jumping around with the rest of them when Welbz scored and he practically skipped back to the dresing room. If they thought it was his knee he's have been iced and stapped to the bench. Usual internet BS.
According to Fab it was cramp.
To be fair occasionally after playing I've had really painful cramp at the top of my calf, at the back of the knee so maybe it was similar?

Great news if he signs a new contract.
In reality it just means if/when he leaves we'll get two zillion £ from Chelsea for him, rather than one zillion.

That would be absolutely massive. As would his wages, but may well be worth it.
Dunno. If he had signed it last summer I would have felt the same way. If he signs a new one now, I think its very likely he'll be around for at least another year.

Of all our lusted after players I reckon he is the most likely to stick around if we can give him European football again next season. A less money driven player I can’t remember. Of course this is just supposition with no evidence to back it up, just a gut feeling, that he is happy here and can fulfil his ambitions with us
