Will he be forgiven if he DOES sign and thn proceeds to be as good and exciting as we all thought when this news first broke?

I'd still like to see him sign, but wonder why it is that he won't just do it.

No job or play football for money. Now let me just think about that for a few weeks while I don't have any income ........

Too easy for everyone else to decide, so I guess he doesn't really have the desire to play. Shame.

Perhaps Steve should withdraw the offer and see how disappointed he looks.

Not quite as straight-forward as that.

He is sitting on two (much higher) offers from abroad.

He is weighing up between the convenience of playing for a team 30 minutes drive from home (and living with his wife and kids) and taking the money but playing away from home.

A lot could depend on how well he is getting on with his wofe at the moment (!) and how rich he currently is (!)

My gut feel is that he will take the money and play abroad, but it does appear to be a very difficult decision for him to come to.

Either way, as Southern FM correctly reports, he has said that he will announce his decision next week.

In the meantime he is still training with the team at Falmer

I think SC should have given him an ultimatum a long time ago then this all could have been done and dusted by now!

Well if hes making a decision by the end of the week then that tomorrow so lets wait till then, as we are slightly lightweight in midfield Id love it if he came in and did a job for us, he would still be great in this division.

If he says no then so what, weve lost nothing.

we will have lost something, all that time talking to him could have been spent on keeping henderson here, maybe permanently, or another of our own strikers, or even kuipers, dont get me wrong i will be happy if he signs, but it doesnt look to good.
