In the event that he does sign: he's been in the Middle East for a year, presumably we'll have to get international clearance for him.

Bearing in mind it took weeks to get clearance for an English guy (Wilson-Denis) who's been in Ireland for a while, how long will it take the FA to sort out someone who's been in Saudi? My money's on his debut being against Notts County on November 22nd

I guess that if his family are happily settled in East Grinstead, wouldn't it be fairly likely that he would also be allowed to work in the country in order to support them? Therefore he probably wouldn't need a work permit?

We need to get the registeration from his Saudi club though and that could take a long time. 2 weeks to get Wilson-Denis's from Ireland.
