Just far enough away from LDC
To be fair to Moyes he has resurrected his managerial career. Great at Preston, good at everton, hiding to nothing at utd, pony in spain, sunderland was a basket case, good at west ham 1st time, very good now

A good team but the dullest manager on planet earth. I would not pay to watch West Ham, currently.
Europe for the last 3 seasons, including winning a trophy. Recently beat Arsenal away, Man Utd and Spurs. 6th in the PL.

I reckon most West Ham fans would be happy with what they are watching.

Most West Ham fans wouldn't know happiness if it ran up and punched them in the face.
Which ironically would actually make them happy.

Phillips would’ve improved us, he’s better than Dahoud and (at this stage) Beleba.

We played all of Gross, Gilmour and Milner last night, later Lallana, our slowest midfielders. All very predictable for Wolves, particularly in the second half. We could do with some pace and power.

It’ll be interesting to see where we finish this season relative to West Ham.
Not worth a £7m loan fee if that’s still the figure. He can’t be match fit either.
It’s cheating Abu Dhabi and why they win, possibly the only club in the world who have readymade replacements for literally every position.
it’s taking the PL an age to find out if they are cheating. I doubt anything will happen apart from a fine.

not sure, always had Happy Hammers down as genuinely preferring losing 3-4 thriller than winning 1-0 tactical doldrums. obvs table and Europe help but bet the average is moaning over their Stella they don't score enough.

£7m (plus £140k per week wages) beginning to look an awful lot of money for a 4 month loan with no option to buy in the summer. He's hardly hit the ground running, lets hope for his, West Ham's and England's sake he shows the return to form we all know he is capable of.

Suffered something of a nightmare start to his Hammers career and the fans are baying for blood. Rumours they already want to cut short his loan and send him back to City who will make him available for a cut price £35m in the summer.

In Phillips, are we seeing a player who was absolutely perfectly suited to an individual manager's style of play (Bielsa's), but is struggling to adapt to anything different?

He's done alright for England to be fair, had a very good Euro's tournament in a different system to Bielsa's. For balance, I thought he was fairly overrated when he was a Leeds, but I think he'll do alright at West Ham or another premier league club if given time to get back up to speed

I think we're seeing a player who has only made 6 Premier League starts over the last season and a half. Can't believe City were asking a 7m loan fee in return for 18-19 games from a player they didn't need and who was obvioulsy going to be rustier than the steelwork at Selhurst.

Someone who’s a bit overrated is my view.
