Last I heard he wasn’t playing as he was overweight. Has he been on a diet?

Available for loan. Ok had a crap season last time around but surely worth a look. Loan would be acceptable.

Jesus wept. A big no from me even if he does lose weight.

A bit like Bridcutt, he works in one particular system very well but most teams are deploying a double pivot these days.

I guess it depends on who our next coach is.

But this is our model. Pick out talented players that made a wrong move or are undervalued. Philips was brilliant a year or 2 ago.

Wages...........will no doubt be on a King's ransome at Citeh. Not succeeding at Citeh (through hardly ever getting in the team) is one thing, but the no-show/shit-show for \West Ham has to be worrying, even allowing for being a bit ring-rusty. Would be very wary of even a loan (even with Citeh paying most of his wages) TBH.

Since when was this our model? I can’t recall any 28 year olds we’ve purchased after a “wrong move.”

If he is on a pay by play contract maybe. No doubt he has had his confidence kicked and trampled needs a good manager with plenty of patience.
Oh yeah we don't have a manager!!!

Shrewd move for one of the promoted clubs though.

Manchester City reported as wanting to sell rather than loan. City obviously got lucky with West Ham covering all his wages and paying a loan fee.

Given his performances at West Ham, they have not taken up the option to buy.

Everton said to be interested but only only a loan.

Wouldn't even want him here if it was on a free transfer.

If we want to bring in an experienced player to provide the sort of influence that Lallana had, there will be far better options.

Seems like going back to Leeds on a loan to buy dependent on promotion is a very likely outcome
