Ones out with a new identity the others back inside with a new identity.

Unless they tell anyone who they are nobody will ever know.

His image is widely available considering he was sent back to prison for having child porn on his computer.

While I have no sympathy for him at all, I can't be the only one slightly uncomfortable with the idea that two other lags, who for all we know could have robbed old ladies at knifepoint or beaten their wives to death, consider that they should be the ones to dispense justice. I don't want criminals dishing out justice, I want the system to do it. These guys are not heroes, they are (suspected) murderers.

This - with large golden bells and whistles on it. The suspected murderers are not to be congratulated, however much of a public service we think they've done. It's a tragic situation and everybody loses. The only ' positive ' is that the child killer will never be able to do it again

It gives me a strange sense of faith in humanity knowing that even the violent criminals in our prisons believe that a prison sentence alone isn't a sufficient punishment for child abuse - and so take matters into their own hands for true justice.

Question for you...would your opinion change if one of those responsible had kipnapped, tortured, raped and killed several old women? Just saying, I'm not trying to start an argument with you but I'm curious as you say it fills you with faith in humanity, yet it horrifies me that one violent criminal feels he has the right to cast himself as a moral crusader when he has already been found guilty of a morally reprehensible act himself.

In this particular case, this.

The adult bully tortured a toddler over a long period, and his official punishment was incarceration losing his freedom but able to pursue hobbies, perhaps take a degree.

Going back to what the scum did, just didn't seem enough. This nasty little ending, is not the end of the world to me.

Exactly. The last people in the world who should admonish any type of justice are those guys. What are they up for ? Does anyone know ?

Whilst I have no sympathy for the piece of scum that has been killed I do worry that other prisoners have found the opportunity to kill another inmate and have equally no sympathy for the 2 murderers that decided to take another persons life. They are not heroes and neither do they deserve to be congratulated or praised, they are killers now and deserve the full weight of justice to be dished out to them. If they did it because they are lifers and have nothing to lose whats to stop them targetting a prison officer next time? Its difficult to reconcile the rights and wrongs of this whole case and it sickens me more that this child killer managed to perform his evil acts with the full consent and participation of the childs mother without any intervention from anyone else that may have saved her life. I won't lose any sleep over the killers death but neither will I lose any over the fate of those who killed him.

how anyone can think a prison sentence in one of our jails is justice for the brutal murder of a toddler is beyond me! IMO you should lose protection from human rights the moment you intentionally and callously take someone else's.

Because our Justice system is infallible and has never got it wrong or framed anyone. Ever heard of Timothy Evans, The Birmingham Six, Stefan Kiszko, Paul Blackburn, Sean Hodgson or the Carl Bridgewater case?

I wonder how many children up and down the country have been spared a savage beating or sadistic torture this evening as a result of their guardians being reminded of the the 'law' inside prisons....?

Yes I did, because they do.

Don't forget to put yourself forward when they have the enquiry into these mens trial and subsequent enquiry into this mans murder won't you. Let them know what happened Bushy. Tell them about how these officers turned their back because of the country's repulsion into it all. Heros they are........it's like the days when the Krays kept things sweet ain't it.

Ps ...... I'm not losing over any sleep over the monsters demise btw.
