We’ll never know, so calling Doris Stokes ….. are you there?
This thread is fast becoming a 'back in the day' chest puffing thread for old gits.I'll have you know that those of us who played as defenders in the Sussex Sunday League of 35 years ago were quite capable of instant retribution
Don’t be silly. Not only is it a red . It’s spiteful and nasty intent
No trainer required …on his feet 15 seconds later…shrugBarely touched him?
Imo no intent….but we are all guessingNo trainer required …on his feet 15 seconds later…shrug

Helped get a result on my 6/1 puntThe problem is looking at it now, the placing of the leg seemed to make no sense, like the Andone red, a bit of vengence.
Of course they can, in the same way that Luton nearly beat Liverpool. No-one is immune to a defeat in the Premier League - not even Man City,The way Dahoud charged in there is understandable wants to win the ball is a physical game etc but was he behaving in a reckless manner and should have received a yellow NOT a red? Its hard to see exactly the angle but I think as Billy isnt tackled through his legs from behind and the Utd player just about makes that a lawful challenge before the red card incident. It turned the game for sure - never in a million years can utd beat us 11 v 11
Murray hinted at that on the stream, something about the player had left one on Billy earlier. The problem is looking at it now, the placing of the leg seemed to make no sense, like the Andone red, a bit of vengence.
I don't think it was very very careless. At worst it was simply careless at best unlucky. For the record, I don't think it was malicious, just very, very careless
Fine, I'll remove a 'very'. but by no means was it 'unlucky'.I don't think it was very very careless. At worst it was simply careless at best unlucky.
I hope the club appeal the red9 times out of 10, that's given as a yellow
9 times out of 10, that's given as a yellow
Nah, it was a red all day, imho. Again, I'll say that there was no malice intended, just a rush of blood to the head. The reason I say unlucky is that it seems Dahoud starts his leg moving downward before the Sheffield's player sticks his leg in the way.
Edit: and the Sheffield player manages to do that via some acrobatics sticking his leg behind him.
