Just watched the Northampton Highlights

And

Painter should have at least tried to clear the 'shot' so was partially responsible but Poke mainly at fault.

Whings crossfield pass was woeful but they took full advantage and scored a good goal.

Sparrow should NEVER have been sent off - typical player over reaction and ref could easily have just given him a talking too let alone a yellow and a red was ridiculous.

Real shame about Nav and all in all a reality check for all concerned. It's going to be a long hard season but this squad is capable of top 6 PROVIDED we get a decent striker :albion2::albion2::albion2:

Funny, I watched the highlights & thought :

1. Whing was totally at fault - he gave the ball away, and then didn't track back fast enough.
2. Poke was ridiculous & 100% at fault
3. SPAZ definitely deserved a red card. And he knew it

Most of this. The sending off looked a bit harsh but he raised his hands so that what's he should expect I guess.

THe problem is that the rule is concrete. You raise your hands, you are off. Therefore, Sparrow was correctly sent-off. My issue is consistency.

Will the same happen the next time someone tamely caresses the opposition?
