I do think the usual jokes aside that NSC does have a problem in common with most social media with unnecessarily aggressive and moronic posters. This is not just on politics threads but across the board generally. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with each other in fact without it what is the point in discussing anything? But the name calling, trolling and general rudeness does seem to be getting much worse in the last few months especially. I'd like to see the mods take a tougher line with it and if you are going to be rude to someone at least try and make it funny for everybody else? The standard of put down on NSC has declined considerably over the last few years

I remain in mainly lurk mode, checking things at least a couple of times a day. I do post in the Film XXXX threads, and some music related ones too, but not so often in other threads - normally others get my thoughts posted first so don't bother!

Ditto for me as well, I love the old music/film/TV threads together with Albion memories. I read most of the threads but life's too short to get involved with some of the morons, trolls and wum's on here. NSC certainly seems to have lost a lot of the more interesting and funny posters over the last few years. But I still love it and it has never failed to help when I've posted problems in the past, usually to do with computers but I certainly can't claim to be in the same league as the legend that was BG.
As I have said before, when it comes to computers I'm not quite the Village Idiot................................................but I am very good friends with him.
Just the way it should be.
All those Yoko Ono's were holding us back.

Me too...all my local shops out of everything i want and have loads of everything i dont want...and my shopping bill last week was over £100 buying locally when normally it would be about £45..couldda paid for a taxi each way to the marina and still spent left..
