Don't give up yet. The Russians have a mountain to climb, but it isn't impossible. If the Commies score on their powerplay to start the third period, it becomes a 3 goal game, which is doable. Of course, they would have to stop letting them in at the other end. . .

Watching the Finland/Czech game, it looks like they are playing in slow motion. A really boring game compared to the fireworks of earlier. No score whatsoever and we are in the third period.
