Anyone else on here notice that he also has a 'bit' of a throw on him, especially for a wee lad

Maybe for once we won't automatically lose possession everytime we have a throw-in and he can launch it into the box

Great debut

Yes....took one in the first half that went MILES......commented on it at the time.

Seems like a really nice lad. WHAT a signing. We've mugged them!

Also to his credit that he decided to leave the safe environment of Chelsea, where he was probably on reasonable money (for his age) to compete for a spot elsewhere. Plenty of youngsters cling on to the supposed glory of being at a big club, or get sent out on relentless loans. He wanted more, and here's hoping we can give him that.

Great debut, such an exciting player.

As has been said, with Bruno there to coach him and calm him down a bit with regard to diving in and the odd rash challenge, he really could be a special player for us.

We really don’t struggle to produce right backs in England at the moment do we?!

A few clips from tonight. He makes Vardy look slow in the last one. :D

Just saw his post match interview. Hilariously high on the cliche count! Funny to hear someone who looks and sounds so young referring to ‘the gaffer’.

Very impressive.

Just the sort of calibre of player we need to go forward, he’s the sort of player you’d normally see at somewhere like Southampton.

I think we can finish as high as 12th with wins against Norwich, Southampton, Newcastle and Burnley and really push on next season.

Those highlights above are a thing of beauty. What a signing, what a player we have here.

I can’t believe how fast we’re growing. Have to say our club is in great hands and is building an exciting future.

Delighted to see the well-considered comments and analysis from Mouldy Boots, Pretty pink fairy and Chicken Run on this thread tonight ???

Lampty was brilliant today. Best Albion debut since Darren Freeman?

First time I got a decent look at him I thought, 'what's Potter doing, putting a 9-year-old in against this lot?', but bloody hell! He's set the bar ludicrously high with that debut. If he can maintain that sort of standard we've absolutely robbed Chelsea. Quick, fearless, tough if that smack in the face is anything to go by, aggressive and technically adept. Superb debut. Well played that man. Kid. Youngster. Whatever - well played.
