The Conservatives vote against feeding children of poor families over school holidays.

Two fingers up to their working class voters.

BUT illegal migrants get fed three times a days???

Your response to hearing the news that the Tories have voted down the extension of free school meals, meaning many of the most vulnerable children will go hungry, is to say “but illegal immigrants...”? Jesus wept

I’m rather exasperated and a little saddened by the callous whataboutery of it, but considering who I am talking to, I shouldn’t be too surprised. Still, just imagine hearing the news that millions of kids will go hungry and your first thought goes to “but immigrants...”.

West is BEST
It’s not a case of immigrants getting food at the expense of poorer U.K. kids. We can afford to feed all. I would imagine the monthly dining budget of Westminster would cover a fair chunk. Boris doesn’t look like he’s missed many meals.

Your total failure to even offer comment on this callous Tory policy, other than to have a dig at migrants, indicates it is indeed agenda driven whataboutary. Oh and migrants don’t get food at the expense of children you utter tool.

Your total lack of empathy and decision to blither on about migrants, insinuating that migrants are some how at fault instead of the government, is, as pointed out above, rather depressing and infuriating at the same time. But by all means focus on me being ‘triggered’ instead of your utterly shameful response

Especially when this government is also forcing many people in work in tier 3 areas to only get paid 80% of minimum wage too.... double bubble. Shameful government and anyone that voted them in should be ashamed. With the amount of poverty in this country there really is nothing ‘Great’ about Britain
