thought we were a pile of log today, a couple of half chances blown in the first half, then nothing in the second, might as well have gone home. Highlight of the afternoon though was the plymouth fans calling us 'dirty northern bastards'!

Careful, you'll be accused of not being at the game when a certain someone comes back and starts telling everyone how well we played.

Very little Magoo out.....in fact, a lot more "Drinking pints of whisky". The team got a decent round of applause at the end, even thouh Hawsey was probably right - the last 60 mins were distinctly average. I think those of us there today (500 or so?) were almost entirely in the "we're down, so why get too upset?" camp. Without giving up, I think we should be looking forward to next season in League One. And by "looking forward", I don't mean in the happy sense. On the bright side, I thought we were defensively a good unit today. On the negative side, there was absolutely zero creativity in midfield - apart from a few decent touches from Carole. I've said many times before that Carpenter has had it - probably his injury earlier this season, but he's doing neither himself nor the team any favours now.

We were poor and look doomed, had a fair amount of possesion in the first half hour, but we never really looked like scoring. the second half we posed no threat at all. Too many misplaced passes throughout. CKR showed glimpses of his skill, but Gatting very dissappointing.

I was impressed as usual by our away turn out, especially considering our league position.

I thought we played well and looked the more likely - until we conceded. Never really got going again after that.

In fact, you could apply that statement to just about every game I've been to this season.

Same as usual really. Gatting should have scored from his second effort and if that had gone in it may have been a different story.
Also travelled back on the train with a Plymouth fan and he said they called Southampton fans Northern Bastards. Nevertheless the are the most Southern club so realistically every body is North of them.

Sounds exactly like Crewe and most of the other recent games.

Another disappointing away day, we looked good the first half hour moving the ball around nicely, once again a lapse in concentration has cost us. Once they scored there was only ever going to be we winner, they could've had eleven pasties out there and we still wouldn't have scored.

I haven't been to the last couple so will not make comment. However if things are as bad as they sound when I go to Preston and QPR I will be quite upset.

Just back. Nice weekend. Same old story on the field:v little creativity and ZERO goalscoring potential from the forwards.

The shame is that this and several other attractive away weekends won't be available next season (don't say Blackpool that's a different thing altogether!)

Scunthorpe anyone?
