Weird to see Robinson and Frutos play in such surroundings just a few days after Upton Park.

Nathan Elder had the same idea as me after the game and went to pick up some shopping at the Marina, he seemed chuffed to be recognised

He's nothing like Leon Knight and PMB has already admitted he couldn't see him in the first half so his match report is hardly accurate.

Elder is very quick and quite strong, took his goal really well.
He has a very bad first touch, and fell over quite easily.
MIssed an absolute sitter, hitting it over the bar from about half a yard out

fraser played really well, a niggly player, got stuck in and broke up a lot of their attacks.

robinson didnt really look up for, thought he was above this level of football and didnt really do anything. but then he hit a 25 yard screamer off the bar

second half was boring, we really could have drawn the game, looked a bit suspect at the back and we cleared 2 off the line when it was hard for them to miss

stood next to wilkins and dick knight second half, and it was interesting to hear them speaking about elder. knight kept dropping hints to wilkins how good elder was playing, but im not sure how convinved wilkins was

Fraser was the only Albion player to look like a class above i thought. Sonny Cobb's passing was alright but i expected the defence to be less troubled than they were and they werwe very poor on a couple of set pieces. Elder missed an absolute sitter and his touch looked a bit weak.

was to good to see kuipers kicking the ball well again,

was disappointed with gatting, his goal was lucky and he didnt seem to have too much confidence. i remember saying to my mate he didnt look good, and i turned round and gatting senior and wife were stood behind me


also good to see toby marking elder too. he may have damaged his pretty face when he got a shot plum in the face, and it almost knocked him over

and another player who looks very good is sunny cobbs he changed the game when he came on his passing and movement is out of this world

whitehawk played really well knocked the ball around alot and had two cleared of the line.

bit of a shame sam gargan didnt come on, would like to have seen him play

I thought Elder looked ok - a little rusty and first touch needs improving. Cobbs looked very good. Frutos and Loft touched the ball about three times between them.

I didn't recognise Loft with his new hair do but you have got to be joking about Frutos!!
He provided most of the attacks from midfield and put the through ball for Elder to score.

He did perk up a bit towards the end I admit.

Perhaps Loft had to have a haircut to fit into the Gully costume.
