As you may have read on a previous post, my wonderful BHA supporting dad ( for 70 + years), suffered a stroke, over a week ago.
He's not the man he was, at all, and my poor mum can't cope with him coming home (she has her own serious health issues), so it looks like the hospital want him 'gone', but he has nowhere to go to.
He's hardly eaten nor drank a thing, over the past 12 days and seems quite confused. That said, the one thing that got to him today was knowing we were playing Man U. tonight.
Forgetting league tables/Europe etc,. I just want us to win....for him...it might well be the last time he's aware of it.
