Ferring in the Southern Combination League Division 2 (formery Sussex County League Division 3).

They are currently rock botton with a record to die for:-

P 28 W 0 D 0 L 28 F 14 A 300 Pts 0 GD -286

Hailsham are doing a bit better in the Premier Division;-

P 32 W 2 D 1 L 29 F 28 A 136 Pts 7 GD -108

I think they may have work to do.

There are many worse teams because having lost all their games they folded and pulled out of their leagues. Ferring despite losing matches and players saw the season out and must be given credit for that sort of victory.

Credit to them for keeping going, utmost respect for that, they were just out of their class.

Who folded?

Anyway yeah, funnily enough I looked at the County table Friday for the first time this season and my eyes nearly popped out at Ferring.

According to this mathematical equation, just produced by NASA, its:

P29 W9 D4 L16 F38 A47 GD-9 Pts31 = CPFC

Absolutely. It shows that playing the game, isn't all about winning, or in Ferring's case, drawing either.

Shouldn't that be in ORANGE?

Apparently the manager left and like often happens took most of the players with him. I wonder if it is possible to have a rule limiting the number of players a manager can take from a club but it would probably be difficult to implement. Individual counties could have a rule within clubs under their jurisdiction but a manger could go to a club registered with a neighbour county like Surrey.
