A great performance from the lads yesterday. I think Crewe were made to look worse than they were by a defence and midfield cutting out virtually everything they attempted to throw at us. There seemed to be a buzz amongst the team which has been sadly lacking for a while. There were a few instances of the ball being played too short or to an opposition player but overall a massive improvement on last season. 1 game over , another 45 to go.

I think it was a great performance, they didnt even deserve their goal but took it well.
Forster and Murray look quality up together, and what a great assist by Murray to set up Forster.
I am not convinced Virgo can play midfield, though he took his goal well, he looked like a centre back playing out of position.
Elphick and Hawkins look IMMENSE at the back, and we shouldnt conceed too many. Was a bit disappointed Richards didnt chase back for their goal, and just stopped asking for offside.
Forster got booked for arguing with the lino, he should know better, even though the lino was rubbish.
Quality goal celebration by Kuipers running the whole length of the pitch to get to Forster.
Whing looked brilliant going forward and over lapping the wingers, went close to scoring too. I think he will NEVER score though.
Not sure I agree we had 23 shots on goal, not too many of them tested the keeper, but its still a great thing to see away from home

That was my favourite moment of what was a very good game to watch
One other thing that struck me, it was a pretty decent modern ground... but Falmer is going to be HUGE in comparison.
