3. Hammond would make our central midfield more effective if he was played there

But he won't play there until the left hand side s sorted. I think MM put him there because he knows he gets forward and will therefore keep the opposition right back occuppied for the match.

But would you rather have a weak left hand side or just lose the centre of the park as we did today? Albie or Jake/frenchie playing on the wrong side would be a good sacrifice if it means winning a bit of control in the middle...

Knight up to his old tricks again.I think he WASNT fouled either and by falling over and clutching his ankle and rolling around refusing to get up he just made himself look pathetic!

It wouldn't as Jarrett cannot defend and I'd have my doubts about Jake and Carole being placed on that side. Hammond can attack and defend which is why he is on the left at the moment particularly as Mayo and Reid need cover.

The solution is to get a left hand sided player or two so Hammond can be released to play in the centre. I think that is MM's actual intention. Until then I'd go along with Hammond on the left. His 2 goals prove he is effective in that position.

I think the guy who got kicked out had been getting hassle from the stewards all match to sit down but he was wound up that there didn't seem to be anything being done about the Hull fans who seemed to be standing too and I guess in the end the stewards had enough of him mouthing off.

There was some stuff being said about the stewards being racist but I don't know what that was all about.

I would, for the next game drop Dodd and give El Abd a starting place.

Not too sure about taking off two attacking players today and putting on one midfielder and a striker?

Lets go for a more all out attacking formation, after all isn't attack the best form of defence. However we do need another midfielder badly.

Only four gamnes in and we'll be alright when the new players gel.

It's one thing mouthing off to the stewards but when the police come calling, you have to have the self-preservation to cool it a bit and not start on them too.

Unfortunately he was pretty tanked up when he arrived so self control or self preservation were out of the window.

I'll second that, and i told him he was out of order before the match as he said something unrepeatable to Yorkie.:nono:

I didn't go today hands up...... but I said last week the chippy/charlie midfield is woefuly woefully inept at this standard.

Don't know where this Chippy played badly stuff comes from, today he was one of our few good players. Charlie did have an off-day though.

Oatway and Carpenter have been outclassed in every game this season. We really need a quality central midfielder to play alongside hammond otherwise we will have no chance this year.

Hammond and alexis need to be given a chance if those two are pplaying badly
