Stick to the topic and stop trying to be clever.

And if you wanted to be really cruel, you could make him watch the rest of that mawkish pap.

My point obviously went completely over your head. Never mind.

I've never felt comfortable in the verbal abuse of players, and although Davies is crap, it was OTT. However if it was me, rather than sulk, I would be determined to go out in the next game, try my hardest and score to stick to fingers up to the moaners. I don't expect him to do that though.

I was really hoping he put one in the net late on on Saturday, as I wanted to see how he would react to the taunting. It would certainly have given us more of an idea as to whether the criticism will make him worse or more determined.

Most don't seem to care.

That's what you get with short-term contracts and guys on loan just trying to get fit. Truth is, they DON'T CARE! So what if we go down, they have no intention of being here anyway.

It wasn't just that he missed - it was because he didn't seem to have any idea what he was expected to do when in a position where he could hardly miss. He seemed to absolutely shit himself when the ball somehow found its way too him with a great gaping goal in front of him. It was by far the most apalling 'effort' at goal I have ever witnessed. The guy should not play again this season; he has no belief and I wonder if there was ever any talent there either.

Whilst the abuse he got isn't going to help, he isn't goind to do anything this season anyway, he simply hasn't got the balls for it.

but he is an international!

FFS people what a bunch of pussies. The guy needs to grow some bollocks. If the guy has any he will think " I will shove those chants back down their throats " , he will step up to the plate and prove himself. He has a glorious job playing football once or twice a week, training for a few hours 4 times a week and getting paid £ 3000 a week or so. He needs to grow a thicker skin and all this namby pamby " oh wasn't it terrible he was abused ", get a grip. It goes with the territory. He has costs us a lot of points with his misses, what are we supposed to do, give him a cuddle.

My remedy for him if he feels hard done by is to watch the first 25 minutes of Saving Private Ryan and watch men younger than him not even get out of the landing crafts before being shot to pieces or going over the side and drowning trying to get their back packs off. A reality check it is called.

People are having a very tough time at the moment trying to keep a roof over their heads and he gets £ 3000 a week to kick a ball around and has a pampered lifestyle so sorry I am not in the " it was out of order " camp.

So I take it that you are happy for members of NSC to follow you around and shout abuse when you make mistakes.

It is not a matter of Davies' reaction. A striker needs confidence and like it or not he is all we have at the moment. We need to get behind the team during games rather than get on individual player's backs but seeing as you have given up going I am not sure if his performance is any of your business.

All the talk is that he is crap but he managed 6 in 13 for Stockport and was Oldham's top scorer last season so he can't be that bad.

He has all the raw attributes of a top striker, otherwise Verona or Wolves wouldn't have taken a chance on him. He needs some good coaching from White and Booker and a bit fo confidence, once one goes in I am sure the goals will flow.

I have paid £ 900 for 2 st's this season and have invested in excess of £ 5000in the club in the last 10 years so I reckon I am entitled to my opinion. What do you think ?.

I think unless you went to MKD on Staurday you are a bad fan and should be allowed no opinion at all.

That is irrelevant. You made it quite clear on here that you gave up on this season and the team quite a while ago. That says more than £900.

Add to that your constant abuse of a manager (including your hilarious signature) who has had the worst luck with injuries and suspensions since coming here. The radio were talking about Man United's crisis yesterday with 7 or 8 out so what does that make our 13 on Saturday?
